The Chicago Teachers Pension Fund will hold elections for two Teacher Trustees on October 30, 2009.
CORE has endorsed two candidates for the election, Lois Ashford (O’Keefe Elementary), a 17-year veteran of the Chicago Public Schools, and Jay Rehack (Whitney Young High School), 20 year veteran of the Chicago Public Schools.
CORE believes that both of these candidates have the personal integrity and the fiscal mindset that make them ideal for these positions.
