CTPF Voting Procedures for Displaced Teachers
Lois Ashford, one of CORE’s candidates for Chicago Teachers Pension Fund Trustee was displaced when her former school, Copernicus Elementary, was turned-around by the Chicago Board of Education. She realized that the one thing they could not take away from her was her guaranteed defined-benefit pension.
