CPS Budget Hearings Teachers, students, parents and community members demonstrated their anger at open budget hearings Tuesday, Aug 18th at Lane Tech HS and Wednesday, Aug 19th at Westinghouse HS. PACT’s efforts in Lynch v. Huberman to lift CPS’s ban on campaigning in schools were essential to CORE’s ultimate victory. With a settlement of the lawsuit pending, CORE takes a moment to thank PACT for their efforts.

CPS called an emergency Board meeting on Tuesday, June 15 to pass a resolution that will drastically change our working conditions and the learning opportunities for our students.
